As part of this year’s Board of Directors election, the ICA would like to recognize and thank Daniel Law, who has stepped down from the ICA Board after nearly two decades of dedicated service, including time as Interim Executive Director.
Daniel has been a key contributor to the ICA’s growth and evolution, providing steady leadership and thoughtful guidance throughout his tenure. While he has chosen not to stand for re-election, he will continue to remain involved in an advisory role, offering his expertise and knowledge as needed.
In a message to the ICA community, Dan shared:
“It has been an immense honor to serve the Domain Name Community and the Internet Commerce Association (ICA) as a member of the board over the past 10 plus years. Over the course of my tenure, I have been privileged to work alongside dedicated individuals committed to advancing the interests of our community and fostering a vibrant, equitable digital ecosystem.
With a heavy heart, I have decided not to stand for re-election to my seat on the ICA board. This decision was not made lightly, as my time serving this organization and its members has been deeply rewarding. I am profoundly grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the ICA’s mission and to support the Domain Name Community.
I extend my heartfelt thanks to my fellow board members, the ICA staff, and the broader community for their trust, collaboration, and shared passion. I am confident that the ICA will continue to thrive and lead with integrity and innovation.”
We would like to thank Daniel for his many years on the board and his continued commitment to the ICA and its mission! We’re grateful that he will continue to support the organization as an advisor to the Board.
