The Internet Commerce Association is pleased to announce that Alan Shiflett, General Manager of Aftermarket & Specialty Brands at GoDaddy, is joining the ICA Board of Directors. Alan steps into the seat previously held by James Bladel.
With over 16 years of experience, Alan has been instrumental in scaling the domain aftermarket and has long served as a dedicated advocate for the investor community.
A Seat at the Table
Alan’s deep expertise in sales, product, and go-to-market strategies makes him an invaluable addition to our leadership. On joining the board, Alan shared:
“I’ve spent my career at GoDaddy working alongside domain investors, and I’ve seen firsthand how much this community contributes to the broader domain ecosystem. Joining the ICA board is a chance to advocate for that community in a different capacity, and to help ensure investors continue to have a seat at the table on the issues that shape this industry.”
Looking Ahead
While many members already know Alan from past AMAs and meetings, we are excited to officially bring his perspective to the board.
We also want to share our sincere thanks to James Bladel for his service and leadership. We wish him the very best following his retirement from GoDaddy and look forward to seeing what’s ahead for him.
