2026 Lonnie Borck Memorial Award and Trailblazer Award Nominations

We’re pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the 2026 Lonnie Borck Memorial Award and ICA Trailblazer Award.

These two awards celebrate different, but equally important, contributions to our industry, and we hope you’ll take a few moments to nominate someone or a company you believe deserves recognition.

  • Deadline to nominate: November 2, 2025
  • Who can nominate: Anyone in the industry
  • Who can be nominated:
    • LBMA: Individuals who help build a stronger, more connected community
    • Trailblazer: Companies or individuals advancing the industry through innovation

The winner of both awards will be determined by a vote of the ICA members and both awards will be presented at our upcoming Annual Member Meeting in Las Vegas, January 2026.


Lonnie Borck Memorial Award

The Lonnie Borck Memorial Award honors individuals who have made an exceptional contribution to fostering a sense of community within the domain name industry.

  • 2021: Michael Cyger
  • 2020: Ron Jackson
  • 2019: John Berryhill
  • 2018: Kathy Kleiman

We encourage nominations of individuals who exemplify collaboration, positivity, and community-building. The nominee must be living at the time of nomination.

ICA Trailblazer Award

Launched last year, the ICA Trailblazer Award recognizes companies or individuals who have significantly advanced the domain name industry through innovative products or services with a lasting impact.

The inaugural award was presented to Atom.com and its founder Darpan Munjal whose product innovations have helped shape domain investing.
