Undefended 3-letter .com

Here is a sad case where a valuable 3-letter .com domain was lost in a UDRP decision. The complaintant claims that the defendant hijacked the domain name. I wonder if that means that he registered it after it expired. If it was obtained through criminal means, then I have no sympathy for the defendant. However, on face value, it seems like this registrant lost a five to six-figure domain because he didn't bother to file a response. Don't let this happen to you. Consult an attorney familiar with domain name issues and respond to complaints.
